Responsibilities: The program manager is responsible for vetting new incoming requests for development tasking, defining development tasks, and tracking progress against the master schedule and cost plan. Report on the schedule and cost utilization. Coordinate with governance and certification and accreditation leads to ensure compliance. Ensure that development resources (funding, manpower, and equipment) are planned and available for IT security improvements when needed. Work with technical leads to ensure that the IT security plans and objectives are realistic. Work with project managers to ensure they understand the requirements and meet the defined deadlines. Will also work with the individual PC and team leads within the team to schedule and track progress against schedule using Remedy ticketing system.  This individual is responsible for managing a project from beginning until end.
