Edward R. Sheehan

Managing Member and President

Ed Sheehan is a Co-Founder and the Managing Member of Assured Decisions, LLC. Ed serves as the President and is responsible for ensuring that company goals and objectives are achieved. He provides leadership and guidance to all company activities.

Ed has 30 years of experience in the Computer Science field, 20 of which include hands-on Business Management. Throughout his career he specialized in the initiation of new technologies and the growth of business for several companies and has served on two acquisition/sale teams. He has held the positions of Division Director, Principal and Senior Vice President.

Ed has dedicated the majority of his technical career to information security. Since 1979 he has participated in the design and specification of solutions, products and standards that represented the leading edge of information security. Ed has served as a Chair and Co-Chair of working groups, delivered presentations at conferences and closed classified sessions, and has represented company interests to Congressional sub-committees, all on the subject of information security.

Ed received his BA in Mathematics from Manhattan College in New York. He has continued his education throughout his career: in 1978 he completed a three year certificate program as a Computer Science Professional from the National Cryptologic Academy; he received a Business Management certificate form Northwestern University’s Continuing Education Studies Department; and he has completed several Masters Degree courses at Johns Hopkins University.

Forming and building his own firm, dedicated to information security,
has been a career-long goal for Ed.

Michael C. Genna

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Michael C. Genna is Assured Decisions, LLC’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the financial and business infrastructure areas of the company and is heavily involved in strategic planning activities.

Mr. Genna has over twenty five years of multifunctional management experience, mostly in senior positions with an emphasis on finance and planning. He has been involved with mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings in addition to all internal financial areas of responsibility. Mr. Genna’s diverse background also includes Information Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Administration, P & L Management, Management Consulting and Entrepreneurship. He has knowledge of multiple industries, including aviation/aerospace, communications, network security services and information technology.

Positions held include Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner. Companies include Coopers & Lybrand, Computer Sciences Corporation, RMS Technologies, Genna and Associates and Shepard Patterson and Associates.

Mr. Genna received a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA
in Finance from Drexel University.
